Proximus, Wynni, and Scarlett meet Acacia in the course of searching for astrolabe pieces on behalf of Eula, Scarlett’s patron and Proximus’s god. Once complete, the astrolabe will pull down shards of a lost race known as the Elders, and these shards are said to grant the wielder a wish spell. Scarlett breaks her pact, forging a new one with an eldritch creature known as the Thing Krakens Fear, and Proximus renounces his paladin oath as they all discover Eula is far too dangerous to serve. A battle ensues, where a shard empowers them all with the abilities to defeat her, with The Thing Krakens Fear (essentially an eldritch and gigantic sand striker worm) arriving to assist.
Season 2
Acacia’s home is destroyed by the empire, and many citizens take to the seas under the protection of the party in search for a new home. It’s not the only place, as they find other former refuges and safe harbors have been either invaded or occupied by the empire. An undersea war is also heating up, which the crew stumble across at a gala at the sea elf capital where the event is crashed by the opposing faction.
Season 3
The party, for their part in defending the sea elves and their guests, are gifted an island that makes for a solid base and a new home for many of the refugees. Their new task is finding a series of large rings the Elders left behind that work with the astrolabe and can create an extremely powerful defense mechanism (or weapon). They acquire the first ring. Scarlett is reunited with her siren family and breaks her pact with the Thing Krakens Fear and they return home with the ring.
Season 4
The crew gets a location for another ring and head off to find it, finding more evidence of imperial overreach and incursions. They get the ring but need to detour through the Plane of Fire to get home, where they meet Paimon, a devil always up to make a deal. He eventually asks them to reclaim his estate in Hell in exchange for the location of the rest of the rings.
Season 5
The party arrives in Dis where they meet Kallista, who is willing to join them on their mission as she’s hunting down soul coins and sees this as a useful opportunity. They’re successful, but on the way back to the material plane Proximus attacks Paimon, earning his ire. Back home, Scarlett and Marcus, her first mate, get married but the island is attacked by a rival pirate and some imperials. While the attackers are eventually dealt with, the party head off to minimize the target on the island but run into a different pair of pirates who also have it out for them. They emerge victorious, and continue towards their next ring which proves more complicated than anticipated and ends up sending them into the Shadowfell. Once there, they learn a giant eldritch being that sounds like the Star Eaters they’ve already heard of is blocking souls from moving on and also prevents them from taking the ring back to the material plane.
Season 6 - Current
Defeating Ur, the Second Death, the crew is able to return to the material plane with the ring. Instead of heading home, they decide to head to the Nalos, a reclusive sect of tritons.
